Skandinavisk NORDLYS 'Northern Lights' Scented Candle. Fragrance Notes: Arctic Intensity and Celestial Colour, a Singular Symphony for Senses. 90 g

This is a beautifully scented candle that is frozen forests and frozen berries, eloquently described on the sealed gift box. Open the box and remove the thin wooden lid and envelope your senses in the powerful scent; it is delicious and a pity to set light to it in a sense, albeit safe in the knowledge you can get another. The 400g candle has two wicks, the much smaller 90g version has just one and note that, despite being beautifully presented in a lidded gift box, there is no ribbon tied around the outside.Size wise, the 400g candle is a good size and on a par with others at this quality level and price bracket. It is a beautiful thing and would make a great gift, which you can size up by adding further items from the range that are in the same or an alternative scent.I don’t often consider keeping the glass jars once a candle has been used up, but this one looks nice and I might just do that when the time comes. Sadly, the seals on the box are sufficiently sticky that they tear the box on removal, so cut rather than peel them if you want to keep the box as well.The candles smell lovely and are some of the best I have. They would make a great gift and, although the 90g size is small, it has no less impact in the scent stakes.

I just received the 90g SNÖ candle, and I'm delighted with the lovely scent and beautiful presentation. I was skeptical about getting a candle online because some scents can trigger headaches for me, but this one has a delightful forest and snow-inspired aroma. The design is also aesthetically pleasing and complements the room nicely. I haven't lit the candle yet but, given the price of it, I hope it maintains its fragrance throughout its lifespan and doesn't lose its scent after the initial layer burns. If it does I’ll come back and change my review. :)

Currently my favourite candle scent!Love love love it BUT it is really expensive.I didn’t notice at first as I put a few things into my ‘basket’ at the same time but although I love it I can’t justify buying it again 😪

The smell was absolutely amazing! It smelled like walking into Christmas! For me the main smell was pine!However, I would say the total burn time the candle gave before burn out was 8-10 hours!I would expect much longer than this considering in the description it states 40 hours!!!!!!!!!!! I would not purchase this make of candles again! And I burn candles everyday.

This is a review of the Takka. I used to really love both the Bal and Flamma Skandinavisk made - I'd get them every autumn and the whole house would instantly feel like it belonged in the season. They were discontinued a few years ago as Skandinavisk turned towards sweeter fragrances rather than the outdoorsy, earthy things they used to do. Takka is like a combination of the two styles. It's not quite as great as Bal or Flamma (because quite a lot sweeter), but it's still 5 star, and I'm really, really glad there's something like this in the range again.

I don't usually like artificial scents but this company do them well. Makes the bathroom smell like Yule. Burns well, lasts ages.

Bought as a gift , not given yet. But lovely quality finish and appearance . Have every confidence it will smell good it looks a high end product. I would be happy to be given it.

This candle is small expensive and of a poor quality. There is hardly any smell from it I would advise anyone thinking about buying one don’t buy a Yankee candle instead which is far better quality and smell.

The scents are nice up close, but most of the time they were burning I couldn’t smell anything at all. Really disappointing given how much I paid for them. They are smaller sized but still I would expect them to fragrance a room.

I love Skog products. My home smells so good!

I was expecting a big green forest scent. It had more scent before I started burning it. Not worth the money. Harry S. candles have way better throw.

No Good

Nicely scented candle. It has a cozy and slightly masculine scent. It burns cleanly and evenly. I do think it is pretty expensive for the small size candle.
