Stuck my finger in to taste, heavy on the oregano flavor (I take their oregano capsules to treat lyme and co-infections) but I wouldn't want to use it on all food. Update: bought a great salt grinder off of Amazon and I was wrong about the strong oregano taste, after all I had at least a quarter of a teaspoon on the end of my finger when I stuck it in my mouth! I have since used on every food possible and it adds and an incredible undistinguishable flavor which really enhances whatever you're eating and if served to guests they would definitely notice that there was something very special about your cooking that they couldn't put their finger on. The other ingredients in this coarse salt are fabulous for your health and I could not taste them but know they will help with anyone's health and I don't foresee any side effects from their use nor will the other included ingredients interfere with changing the taste of the dish. I will most definitely be purchasing this product again and now only use my Himalayan pink sea salt to add to boiling pasta water but using this product on all my food.

this salt comes with a very strong taste of oregano good with chicken i guess but if you dont want the taste of oregano then dont use it with certain foods, very small amount in the box
