If you're smarter than the holster there is NOTHING wrong with the retention on this holster.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have a gun youtube channel, I get given and I buy A LOT of holsters. Bravo has NEVER given me anything (you know fellas, you could hook me up) All that said, after reading some of the reviews on this holster, which I bought on a whim because I was sent a TLR7x to test and needed a holster to carry it on a Glock 19 gen 3 I have to tell you, ther is NOTHING wrong with the retention on this holster if you are smarter than a holster. It's got a positive "click" to know that it's locked in. To be honest I removed my retention screw all together to get the least retention possible. The fit and finish of the holster are fine, on par with all of the other BC holsters I have ever run. Streamlight is trying to convince me to run the TLR7x over the TLR1 HLx that I run on all my Glocks due to the flush fit vs the barrel on a 19/19x/45 against the overhang of the TLR. I'm going to carry on and inside the waistband for about a month each with this and an inexpensive IWB that I also purchased on Amazon. Ultimately, if I choose to stick with the TLR7, I'll get a Croosbreed LDS2 for IWB because nothing beats a slab of leather against your body for comfort IWB.With that in mind, I have tried every OWB holster on the market, I think, and while I don't carry OWB often, and when I do, I tend to carry a 17 with TLR1. I wanted an OWB 19/TLR7 holster for those days when I still want to conceal, but it will be under a long shirt or light jacket. BC holsters have always ridden well in that role. The biggest problem with OWB in that role is a holster that doesn't keep the gun tight against your body, and the BC holsters ride better than most, in my opinion. I actually have this same holster for a 19/TLR1 that I fell on empty while training and broke in half down the backside. I threw some Gorilla tape on it and have still been carrying like that for over two years because the Gorilla tape holds just fine and the BC holster being injection molded plastic and not Kydex gives it a solid frame so the tape can make that happen. That wouldn't work with Kydex BUT I don't think Kydex would have broken from that same fall. Bravo Concealment make as good of a holster as anyone and has been in the game for a long time. Don't let a few reviews from users with an ID10T user errors shay you away from their holsters.

Great product and company
Holster has worked great as advertised. Purchased in 2022 and have not had an issue till last week. I did have a belt loop screw come out but I messaged the company and am being sent replacements. Super fast response and solving the problem. Great product and great customer support even 3 years after purchase.

Great value for money
For the money, I can’t complain.Works great for its purpose. The belt clips currently on it are hard to fit some belts through. A little too narrow and the curve of the holster makes it strange to fit the belt through. Works great with the groove belt I wear pretty much every day though. Retention is very tight like others have said, but not a huge issue. Yes it will cause wear overtime, carry guns are to be used hahaha. Overall? Very happy with my purchase.

Not good
Incredibly tight fit to the point it’s not usable. The “retention screw” is entirely just for looks as tightening and loosening does absolutely nothing. The holster shell is in a fixed position due to its design. The holes where the belt loop attach are how it’s held together and it is not possible to loosen or tighten. Waste of time..

Works well
You get pretty much what you see, its a very solid holster and does its job as well as you'd expect. My only issue with it is how difficult it is to draw your gun from it when you have a light attached, the holster is form fitted so it fits very well and will not allow the gun to move around or fall out, however it's also such a tight fit that it's sometimes hard to pull the gun out when you have a light attached, especially if your belt isn't 100% tight, this would also cause a massive issue if you're carrying concealed under a jacket/shirt. It says that there's a retention screw, but it does practically nothing, I've tried it in every position and with it taken out and the holster still feels the exact same. When its just the gun without a light attachment it feels just fine however.

You get what you pay for... Still not all bad.
So to preface this review, I haven't even gotten to use it out at the range or anything yet, I have only been able to mess with it and try to fit it at home so it feels right. With that being said I have owned OWB, AIWB, and AWB holsters forever and have tried many things from Amazon Specials to Safariland and Tenicor products. If you are looking for something cheap, quick, and easy... This is the product for you, it is definitely has a solid ABS Plastic Build that doesn't seem awfully cheap and the retention screw to customize the amount of resistance on the weapon in the holster is actually useful and functional. I WILL SAY! IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO CHEAP OUT AND USE THIS THEN BUYING EITHER THE BRAVO CONCEALMENT PADDLES OR PANCAKE LOOPS IS A MUST! After Fiddling for 3-4 hours I still have not been able to get this to fit properly and feel secure on my side with the provided belt hooks. THEY ARE ESSENTIALLY USELESS UNLESS YOU ARE RUNNING A INCH THICK (OR MORE) BELT / BATTLE BELT, the design simply allows for way too much play around your side and moving at all and never ends up in the same place it was when you draw from it at any speed. I've tried it with a regular off the shelf Hollister Belt, A Velcro Inner Belt for a Battle Belt (Best Result so Far), and on a Battle Belt (I simply didn't buy it to use it this way but it works.) I just wouldn't trust this holster to save my life in a pinch at all or even to wear around other people without buying a better system to secure it to my body.So Essentially if you are looking to stay on the cheap end of OWB Holsters, this is definitely the way to go but if you're a skinny or fit build and not 250+ pounds, don't expect it to sit very well on you without purchasing one of their better options to secure it to yourself. I've already ordered the Pancake Loops as they seem to actually sit on the outside of the holster which for someone looking to keep it closer to their body is the better option.
