Read the documentation thoroughly.
This is an awesome value. I saved $160 dollars thinking that I needed a new unit and this part fit perfectly? Yes, I took some time to figure out how it all works, but after I spent time removing the unit and cleaning it with the help of a very knowledgeable auto zone employee this antenna works perfectly! I was also impressed by the quality. The only thing I would recommend it not to use normal grease, get the spray lithium grease from wd-40. And take your time doing it. The base of the mast was stuck and took some effort to get it out, but everything went back together and the instructions were very comprehensive!!! Read the instructions several times as there are many helpful hints. Super job on the documentation!!! I highly recommend this product and company. I will definitely buy from them again if I need parts.

New Antenna works great!
Fast shipment, easy install, Good instruction came with antenna plus watching a YouTube video or two and I was able to install the antenna in about 45 minutes. Could be done much quicker by someone with more skill, but I was way outside my comfort zone. Doing the install by myself most likely saved me $125 or so. Not bad for 45 minutes. I liked the fact that the company followed up with a message to make sure all went OK. I feel like I may be getting better reception on this antenna than on the factory antenna that came with the car? Maybe/maybe not but it seems like it.

Very Easy to Install
Toyota wanted to charge me a grip to fix the antenna, my son simply watched a YouTube how to, and had no problem installing it, and it works beautifully. It was delivered in a very timely manner. I am very happy with the product. The instructions that came with it were really all that was needed. But we watched that you tube first.

Good for 2003 Toyota Solara vert
Worked out perfectly for my 2003 Toyota Solara vert. Easy to install. If your original is still moving a little, then you don't even have to remove the motor from the trunk. If it's not moving at all then you have to remove the motor and crack it open to remove the old broken plastic cord as I did.

Perfect for 2001 Toyota Solara
Worked a treat. After clearing out the old broken antenna and plastic piece, this one went in with no problem. The size is just right for my old 2001 Toyota Solara, it retracts flush with the opening. Seems to have better reception now, too!
